During New York Orientation, you will learn everything there is to know about leading a class trip with Smithsonian Student Travel. You will meet with experienced group leaders and attend Smithsonian-led professional development seminars that will help you engage your students before, during and after your tour. We cover topics including airport check-in, bus transfers, hotels, meals and much more.
Plus, we leave time for you to explore New York! Join us on a walking tour of the Big Apple, participate in an improvisation workshop led by an experienced actor, take in a Broadway show, explore Times Square, the Statue of Liberty and visit the World Trade Center site.
